Pros:
- This performance of Paride ed Elena is perfect for anyone new to this opera (which is probably most of us.) The crystal-clear diction from the cast creates a very engaging experience and I found myself really connecting with the story in a way I don't often with Baroque opera.
- Elizabeth Robson is as lovely as anyone cast as Helen of Troy should be.
- Pauline Tinsley makes a very impactful cameo in the last act and just about steals the show.
Cons:
- None to mention.
