Pros:
- This performance documents history in the making, with Luciano Pavarotti making his operatic debut at the age of 25. Even at such a tender age, he already had his distinctive sound as well as his glorious top.
- The rest of the cast is very good, particularly the Mimì of Alberta Pellegrini.
- Previous versions of this recording were not pitched correctly. I have corrected the issue in this remaster.
Cons:
- The sound is not ideal but still offers an excellent glimpse at a young Pavarotti.
