Very nice collector´s item
Among the 80+ Salome-recordings I own there are full opera-versions of all the singers presented here, some of them multiple times in different performances, but I still appreciate this, like, "best of..."-collection ... and very much so. You get a lot of different ways to approach a - verbally - "final scene" in a nutshell ... in two nutshells, this being 2 discs. Not being neither Salome nor Jokanaan you really can get the promised "lot of fun" with this compilation.
