- As Samson, Jon Vickers is captured in his prime in one of his most iconic roles, making this recording a must-have for his fans.
- Oralia Dominguez brings a sensitive touch to the role of Dalila, although I found that her voice wasn't opening up on top on this occasion like I have heard it do in other performances.
- The sound is very good.
