Despite being a mezzo-soprano, Rita Gorr sounds completely at ease as Sieglinde, bringing a richness of tone to the role that is especially striking during "Der Männer Sippe." The rest of the cast is solid, with particular praise for Walter Kreppel’s commanding Hunding.
The sound quality is excellent, though the first few minutes of Die Walküre are missing.
