Pros:
- Berit Lindholm is radiant as Brünnhilde.
- Hans Hopf, although late in his career, still has the chops for one of operas most demanding role.
- Peter Meven is an elegant Hagen.
- Hermann Becht (you may remember him as the Alberich in the Chereau Ring) displays a sterling baritone as Gunther.
Cons:
- There are a few brief drop-outs throughout the opera.
- There is some mild digital "fuzz" at the end of the immolation scene.
