Ferdinand Frantz delivers a commanding Wotan, marked by impressive vocal presence. He is joined by his wife, Helena Braun, in the role of Brünnhilde in Die Walküre, where her slender yet resilient voice lends a sense of youthful strength to the character. Gertrude Grob-Prandl offers a compelling contrast as Brünnhilde in Siegfried and Götterdämmerung, rounding out a cast that rewards careful listening.
