Pros:
- Rita Hunter proves once again that there was no style she couldn't master. Her Santuzza is Wagnerian in scale, coupled with the vocal finesse she brought to her bel canto roles.
Cons:
- Whoever transferred these tapes added reverb to the master, which does enhance the voices, but it gives the overall sound a slightly artificial feel. Also the tracks occasionally overlap causing the next section to start before the previous orchestral playout is finished.
