Description:

The other standout is Marianne Schech as Maddalena. Her voice has a wild, electrifying quality reminiscent of Leonie Rysanek, but it comes across as slightly cleaner and more slender. When she opens up her upper register, the result is almost rapturous. The sound is very good.
