This Così fan tutte is probably most notable because it includes Giulietta Simionato as Dorabella establishing once again that she could sing anything.   It is very exciting to here "Smania implacabile" delivered with such abandon.  Suzanne Danco delivers similar fire in her "Come scoglio."   It makes one wish that larger voiced singers today would deign venture into Mozart.    Karl Böhm shows his prowess with a Mozart score.  Although many today would probably find his approach old fashion, I find the Italianate quality he brings to the score very refreshing.  The sound is good for the time.
