Pros:

• The cast pretty much speaks for itself...
• The most interesting performance comes from Sylvia Fisher as Sieglinde. Prior to hearing this, I had only known her from her participation in Britten operas. It is a shame that there aren't more documents featuring this artist in Wagnerian roles because she seems to have a particular knack for his musc.
• Hans Hotter is in exceptional form as Wotan.
• Ramón Vinay brings vocal stature and elegance to the role of Siegmund.
