Pros:
- Pauline Tinsley's ample, yet agile soprano, coupled with her fiery, yet stoic temperament make for an ideal Amelia.
- Louis Quilico is astonishing as Renato. It is a shame that there aren't more recordings featuring him in his prime.
- Although this recording is just excerpts, most of Tinsley's part is complete.
Cons:
- The sound is far from ideal and probably best appreciated by Tinsley and/or Quilico fans.
