Pros:
- This concert, recorded when Martina Arroyo was only 30 years old, captures the soprano in glorious voice and features arias from Louise, L'Africaine, La Rondine, Cavalleria Rusticana and La Forza del destino.
- In order to give Arroyo a break between numbers, the orchestra plays the overture to Anacreon by Cherubini. It is a very interesting composition and a tantalizing taste of what the complete opera might be like.
Cons:
- The recording of the concert is slightly muffled.
