- For sheer vocal beauty, it is hard to think of greater soprano than Kiri Te Kanawa. The voice sparkled on top like no other soprano I have heard live, and even though her tone had a purity that made her ideal for Mozart, her voice also had surprising carrying power that made her credible in Verdi and Puccini.
- At nearly 2 hours, this compilation features arias and excerpts from Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Die Fledermaus, Arabella, Carmen, Faust, Simon Boccanegra, Otello, La Bohème, Eugene Onegin and Strauss's Vier letzte Lieder.
