You're reading right. That is Mario Del Monaco singing Riccardo in Un Ballo in maschera. He sang the role early in his career despite the fact that he never recorded it. He is in fresh voice and free of mannerisms. His singing is glorious. He is joined by Carla Castellani who does the best she can with Amelia's notoriously difficult music. The icing on the cake is the Ulrica of Giulietta Simionato. The sound is fair.
