Berit Lindholm's cool, steely soprano finds a perfect home in the title role, striking an ideal balance of allure and menace. Irma Urrila's honey-toned Liù is a definite standout, offering warmth and lyricism that contrast beautifully with Lindholm’s icy grandeur.
