Elena Souliotis star burned very bright and, sadly, very quickly. By 1971 her best years were behind her. Santuzza, however, still proved to remain a good fit. Her voice seems to have lost some of its weight but she still manages some very beautiful tones. The truly remarkable and unique quality she brings is the youthfulness of her voice making the role the role all the more poignant. The rest of the cast is good but the show belongs to her and the audience knows it. The sound is very good.
