Pros:

  • Carol Neblett's ability to sing just about everything, from Mozart to Wagner, made her a natural choice for the role of Violetta since it encompasses practically every technical challenge for a soprano. She approaches the role with abandon and delivers a superb performance that could stand next to just about any of the great Violettas in the history of opera, as far as I'm concerned.

Cons:

  • None to mention.
