Pros:
- Although nearing the end of her career, Pauline Tinsley demonstrates that she is still an Isolde for the ages.
- Manfred Jung brings a boyish quality to the role of Tristan. Incongruous as it might seem, it really works for the role and changes how you might think of the part.
- Sandra Walker is an excellent Brangäne.
- Hans Sotin is mesmerizing as King Marke. Although these are excerpts, most of Tinsley's part is complete.
Cons:
- The sound is a bit distant.
