I was glad to hear Dvorakova in « Siegfried ». The mothers were ok too. Is there a recording with Dvorakova singing « Heil Dir, Sonne?

This recording gives us excerpts of a Siegfried performed in Vienna February 5, 1969:Act One - from just before Siegfried's entrance to the Wanderer's questioning of MimeAct Two (two chunks) - just before Fafner's death through the Woodbird's first speech - from Siegfried's reemergence from Fafner's cave through Mime's deathAct Three - from Siegfried's "Im Schlafe liegt eine Frau" to just as he bends down to kiss her- from Brunnhilde's "Wer ist der Held der mich erweckt?" to the end of the opera.Beirer didn't perform a lot internationally; had he done so he would have been better known. He is quite marvelous here, singing with ringing top notes and a sure command of the role. Dvorakova, heard in almost her entire role, is an excellent Brunnhilde. One gets the sense that the tessitura is high for her (as it is for most sopranos), yet she doesn't allow it to defeat her, confidently sailing to the top Bs and Cs. The Mime is the famous tenor, Peter Klein (not Kleiner as listed above.) He sings the role without screaming it. Wiener sounds in very good voice. So does Streich, still singing very sweetly, and Kreppel grunts out Fafner's one word "Siegfried!" with aplomb.This sounds like it was taken from a broadcast, the voices clear and well-balanced with the orchestra. There is some minor file corruption in the last couple of minutes, but it's not very audible or disturbing.
