Not as good as expected

I like Konya very much but not as Otello his voice is much too soft grained,I believe these Strasbourg appearances were either his only ones or that he wisely decided to sing his lovely special roles like Lohengrin Walter Parsifal and Don Carlos.I heard him sing Calaf in the 70′S AT cOVENT Garden and that was also not his ideal roles although he sang well.HYe started is career outside Hungary in Bielefeld in the then West Germany.the recording is interesting for his fans and it would be nice to have him more widely represented by Opera Depot in his core repertoire,a nice Lucia with SUTHERLAND exists elsewhere perhaps you could clean up the Met broadcast sound which is murky on the copy I heard and issue it on your excellent label
