Excellent recording with La Nilsson as great Lady Macbreth, but that is not all you folks. Paskalis is great, heroic Macbeth, Buzea nice Macduff. Franc very good Banquo with warm, rich voice. Klobucar and orchestra are excellent, too. Sound is not a problem.

I saw Nilsson sing–and dance–Strauss’ Salome at the Met in NY sometime in the 70′s. Musically, of course, she was superb. But what astonished me that even from as close as the 12th row, she gace the illusion of being a young teen ager. This in spite of–or maybe cause of–what one critic said: After she finished the strip tease, she would not have been cold at the North Pole.It was a great evening.
