Renata Tebaldi was excellent as Minnie in "La Fanciulla del west". She was able to muster all of the power for the dramatic moments of the opera without ever losing sight of Minnie's wide-eyed optimism. Daniele Barioni, as Dick Johnson, makes an impressive vocal impression. Giangiacomo Guelfi is a gruff and snarly Jack Rance. The sound is excellent.
