Renato Capecchi leads the cast of this performance both literally and figuratively. From his entrance he dominates the proceedings with a mixture of dramatic baritone swagger and buffo charm. Agostino Lazzarino exudes youthful vigor as Rinuccio. Bruna Rizzoli is a sweet if somewhat bland Lauretta. The sound is very good.
