Prey shines in Handel rarity

Rodelinda has slowly made its way into the periphery of the standard repertoire, but in 1956 it, and almost all Handel opera for that matter, was largely unknown. Fortunately this cast of artists manages to find the heart of Handel's masterpiece even if the style must have seemed very remote.
