A document of Eda-Pierre's recording, but the relative obscurity of this work is probably well-deserved.

The performances are perfectly fine. It is star-level cast devoting talent and energy to a piece of fluff by a major composer. It is interesting only in that you hear hints of Romeo and Juliet and The Pearl Fishers which reveal the mojo of Bizet. The sound is quite good.
