Il Pirata

Pauline Tinsley is simply astonishing as Imogene in Il Pirata—a role so demanding that Montserrat Caballé once compared it to singing three Normas. Tinsley rises to the challenge with fearless coloratura, searing dramatic commitment, and a seemingly endless supply of high notes. It's a performance driven by intensity and vocal daring, showcasing her at full throttle.

The sound quality leaves much to be desired, and some sections of the music are missing. However, Tinsley's part is more or less complete, preserving the heart of the performance.

Tinsley is fabulous!

How underrated and under recorded is Pauline Tinsley. The sound is average but you get used to it! A fabulous performance of a wonderful opera.

Overall the sound is pretty awful though better in some parts than others but Hey, such a rare performance from a vastly underated singer so heard on recordings, who cares Brilliant.
