This is a BBC broadcast from the proms in 1973. Both the sound and performance are very good but unfortunately, the last scene is missing. The Leonore 3 overture is duplicated and there is nothing beyond that point. Still, it is worth listening to and must have been a very memorable prom for those lucky enough to be present.
