Her roles included Elsa in \u003ci\u003eLohengrin\u003c\/i\u003e, Sieglinde in \u003ci\u003eDie Walküre\u003c\/i\u003e, Senta in \u003ci\u003eDer fliegende Holländer\u003c\/i\u003e, and Isolde in \u003ci\u003eTristan und Isolde\u003c\/i\u003e, while the Marschallin in Richard Strauss’s \u003ci\u003eDer Rosenkavalier\u003c\/i\u003e became one of her most celebrated portrayals.
