This performance comes from a production made for German television.  It may not be the most quintessential example of Italianate performance, but it features great singers by any standards.  Sandor Konya stands the closest in approximating Italian style sung in German.  Charlotte Berthold was a very beautiful woman and her voice matched that glamour.  Her top in particular has glorious sheen.  Roberta Peters is a delight as Oscar and Martha Mödl delivers a wonderfully campy Ulrica.  The sound is good.
