I would stay away from this recording unless you are really curious as to Magda Olivero's Santuzza. The sound is distant and fuzzy. That said, Olivero does not disappoint and brings all of her authentic Italian pathos that made her a great Fedora and Adriana Lecouvreur to Santuzza. The recording is also interesting because it features Bianca Berina as Lola. The opening two minutes are missing.
